More good news from Geoff Mullet

This just in from your ever-hard-working Club Secretary Geoff Mullett
Your committee have been working hard to bring you a feast of jazz over the coming months. As always, any bookable event sells out and we end up with a waiting list made up of tardy souls who just don’t quite get around to reserving a ticket, so with you all in mind, here’s what’s in the pipeline:

Thursday 4 June
The Easy Riders – band leader Peter Jones.
Always a good crowd for the band's monthly residency at the Club. Highly recommended!

Saturday 6 June
The International Delta 6
Tickets sold out yonks ago! Arrive early and throw your beach towel on a chair!

Saturday 13 June
The Hammond - Clarke Sextet
Brian Clarke and Malcolm Hammond return to the Club following their successful first visit in February, playing more mainstream jazz.

Saturday 20 June
The Queen Street Band featuring Brian Boles.
Brian has given much time and energy supporting the Club, and where would the Club be, without its resident band? Come along and give them all your support!

Friday 26 June
The Lucinda Fosker Quartet
Four graduates from Birmingham Conservatoire's Jazz Degree course who play a mixture of jazz standards and original compositions. More details and tickets on the web site.

Friday 3 July
The Stockholm Stompers
A brilliant, quirky jazz band from Sweden. Tickets selling fast!

Saturday 5 September
Brian Carrick & his Algiers Stompers
One of the best exponents of New Orleans Jazz. Just a handful of tickets left. They will sell out, there will be tears!!!

Thursday 17 September
The Budapest Ragtime Band
We are fortunate to book this vastly experienced band that will be touring the UK this autumn. Tickets now on sale. More details on the web site.

Saturday 3 October
Lulu White and The Ancholme River Jazz Band
Chanteuse Lulu White and her partner John Thompson bring their band to the Club for the first time.

Saturday 24 October
The Jellybabies
A return visit for this popular Swedish New Orleans jazz band. A sell-out last time, it will be again!
Tickets on the web site.

Coming up in 2016
Annie Hawkins Jazzmen
New Orleans Heat
and (hopefully) a VERY big name in the jazz world!

All this, for £6 membership!

Geoff
